PrC alpha2

Made a few bug fixes mostly related to enemy stats. Item names can be imported from KERNEL.BIN/kernel2.bin now.

I'd like to update the help files of these, but I think I lost the sources for them. I don't have them on the same system I develop on so I can't look for them right now. :(

  1. Ha, I see this version corrects a few bugs, great ! :D
I love the function to import item names from Kernel.bin. Works perfectly with a PSX Kernel. It doesn't with a PC kernel2.bin, though. I think it has to do with the fact that PrC can only read Kernel.bin right now.

Also, I see enemy stats still aren't saved. But I'll be patient ;)

  2. It DOES read the kernel2.bin, but you need to select that as the file type in the Open File box. I "fixed" it to where it doesn't care anymore.

  3. And it actually DOES save, you just have to switch tabs for the saving to occur. I just fixed that too.

  4. Oooohhh !!... You're right, all of those DO work =)
Amazing. I see you also fixed the battle flags in the formation editor (now, you can make an enemy invisible >_>), and I also love the fact that you added all freaking status ailments as elements :D This allows for so many more tweaking options...

  5. This message just to let you know item drops/steals/morphs still aren't saved in Alpha2.

  6. And some status effects, like Dual/Dual Drain/Slow/Near Death don't seem to work with the elemental modifiers (for example, making a foe die when it's in Slow status doesn't work). And the "Done" button doesn't work either, in the Animations/Formations windows.

  7. Screw my last point : the "Done" button does work, since I couldn't reiterate the problem I had when I posted this. The only slightly confusing part might be the fact that the window doesn't close when you click on it (you gotta admit that having to click on "Cancel" after clicking on "done" IS confusing).

  8. Yeah, I noticed that too. An oversight on my part, I assure you. Alpha3 is in the works and close to being done. Now that I finally got my debugger to cooperate and run FFVII while debugging I can get that done.
